Livenation: Blossom Music Center - Parking Attendant - May 2016 to August 2016

As a Parking Attendant, you have to pay attention to the car/truck/bus/trailer/limo/motorcycle that is coming in your direction. Avoid getting hit and direct them to the parking spot they are suppose to park in. Paying attention to the size of the car is important too. There are time where people leave or ignore the employees directions and park themselves. If there is a car that will fit in the open space, direct the car that will fit in the spot. When a customer is rude or ignores the employees, ask them drive back in line or find a spot close to where they are at the moment and make sure they park correctly. We also have to look out for the safety of the customers and other employees. If a group is being destructive or setting up camp in another parking spot, we ask them that they have to move their chairs and tables to the front of their vehicle or somewhere else so we can park cars immediately when they come in. When they ignore our words, we will call our supervisors or a nearby police officer to help in this situation. As for non-parking responsibilities, we can help in answering questions about the venue or "where is the main entrance?". People will also try to bring in items that are not allowed in. So we will tell them that that item is prohibited for tonight's concert and will have to be taken back to their vehicle. We will also stop traffic to emergency vehicles and artists getting escorted in or out of the venue for the theirs and the customers safety. You have to think quick in a face pace, loud environment and to watch your surroundings 24/7 in case any other incidents or trespassing occurs.
